At tax 29, we continually strive to provide professional, efficient and accurate tax preparation services. Our customers are important to us. We have received many questions regarding our protocols this tax season amid the Covid-19 outbreak. We wanted to be as transparent as we can be so that our clients can make an informed decision as to what would be the best option to get their tax preparation completed. Generally, we are a high volume facility and have seen about 10,000+ clients through the office in a given season. This year we have prepared other services to accommodate the various needs of our clients. We offer the following service options*:
- IN OFFICE: Business as usual tax preparation services in office. This would be for those who want a face to face interview and preparation. Due to the high volume of clients we serve on a daily basis we allow each person to wait in the lobby or if they prefer, to wait in their vehicle until they are next to be served. We will send a text notification, indicating that they are next to be served and need to return to the office.
- MINIMAL CONTACT: For minimal contact we have revamped our drop off service. You will be required to fill out a brief questionnaire (in the office or print it offline from here to fill it out in advance to further minimize contact) and then simply leave your documents with us. We'll take care of the rest and contact you when its done.
- CONTACTLESS: We have recently added a new feature to our Tax 29 preparation services. Tax 29 FastTrack. This is completely contactless. You simply fill out your basic info upon creating the account, upload your tax documents through photos or PDF's. We will then prepare the return and upload the completed result. You can pay and sign all through virtual services. No need to come in the office.
*Service options may vary depending on location, for contactless options at the Salem or Warren location, please email them at either firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com.
So with an option suited for each need we hope to make your tax preparation as efficient and smooth as it always has been, and still at an affordable price.
For other questions please review our FAQ's down below.
DO YOUR EMPLOYEE'S WEAR MASKS?
Tax 29 employees have the individual responsibility to wear a mask or not. The mask mandate has been posted and all employees have been made aware that that due to the exceptions provided by the Governor in his mask mandate, Tax 29 must assume that any employee not wearing a mask meets such requirements.
DO I HAVE TO WEAR A MASK WHEN I COME IN?
Tax 29 will honor the Governor mandate's to the best of our ability. As the mask mandate has a number of reasonable exceptions, Tax 29 in accordance with the state's guidelines will assume that any individual that is not wearing a mask meets such exceptions.
WHAT PRECAUTIONS ARE YOUR BUSINESS TAKING TO LIMIT THE SPREAD OF THE VIRUS?
We are a seasonal business, and during tax season we are very high volume. We understand that this may make some of our clients uncomfortable. We do offer our minimal contact and contactless options. We maintain our high contact areas by regularly cleaning and sanitizing.
IS THERE A WAY TO WAIT FOR A PREPARER WHILE MAINTAINING SOCIAL DISTANCE?
We have set up a new procedure available to those who would like to wait in their own vehicle after signing in. You will simply need to provide a phone number in which we could text you when you are next in line.
